Getting Started

Students seek out their own domestic internship provider, and we provide a handful of on and off-campus resources for getting started below. In order for an internship experience to qualify for academic credit, students must work for a total of at least 42 hours per credit hour and for no less than 8 weeks. Note than no more than 3.00 credit hours can be applied toward Spanish and Portuguese majors and minors. It is also important that students apply for academic credit before they begin their internship, as credit will not be given retroactively (see the "Apply" button below) . After completing the application, students will be enrolled in the corresponding course.

Count Your Internship for Academic Credit

Once you have found your internship opportunity, make sure to fill out the application to receive academic credit for your internship and enroll in the corresponding course.
