Biography

I was born and raised in New York City. I am the daughter of a proud Puerto Rican mother and Ecuadorian father. I love to learn everything I can about my cultural background and family history. I also like to dance, travel, and go out for karaoke night whenever I have the chance. My favorite movie is “Jurassic Park”, and if the park were open today, I would definitely still go.

Advice to Current or Future Graduate Students

Don’t be afraid to go after what you want! Everything is going to be hard at one point or another, but if you love it, then it’s worth going after.

What I like about BYU

I love the opportunity I have to work with such encouraging and warm faculty and staff at BYU. There is never a lack of support here, and the cohorts really do become like family.
